MOM-2-Be : Morning Sickness

According to the calender, today is 6 week and 1 day. Ever since that I know that I'm pregnant, the morning sickness came. Now I know how it feels of having every minute trying to vomit. The morning sickness lasts until night. I ask my friend and she said she had it for three months then it goes away. So I have to bare for another two months? I know..it depends on the person. With Raya coming, I would imagine myself just looking at all the delicious raya delicacies just like that. Right now even chocolate doesn't feel good. My taste buds has fade for now. Oh rendang, oh ketupat.. I feel its useless if all these I can't eat it right for raya. I think if chocolate i'd pass what makes u think that I would want to eat anything else? I don't want to gloat but instead i want to be thankful that this miracle inside me is growing and healthy. Alhamdulillah.

 

MOM-2-Be :  Baby Scanning

Another entry from this mommy to be! (you don't how long I've been meaning to say these..haha)
We went to the clinic to valid my pregnancy and yes..I'm expecting and I'm 5 weeks 5 days. Alhamdulillah my baby is fine. The doctor ask me to do a follow up check up with my actual gynae at DEMC. Dr Jumeah. That would be on 24th August.

There you are, that cute and small hole is my expecting baby. Right now i feel the quesiness. Loya. I just told my bosses. They are what they are.just like that nothing more. hmm..they congratulate but that's it. Whatever, so moving on.

I started out by printing out this Preganancy to-do list from Babycenter.com . This checklist will be one of things that would help me out on my pregnancy. I'm still new and curious about pregnancy, loads to read and understand. Thank you to my husband who've been really helping me out.Thankful. I know love, support and understanding from your other half is the most important things.

Alhamdulillah, I'm Pregnant...!!

Alhamdulillah peeps! really really feel bersyukur. There's mixed feelings every time i think about it. I feel so blessed to share this great news with you all. Let me share my story on how i know that i become pregnant.

Since last week, my breast has gotten swollen, never before felt it. Mood swings come and go. I'm sorry my dear husband hehe.. I sleep like a baby. Since it's Ramadhan, i don't eat that much just everyday supplement like a dose of Qaseh and whatever leftovers from Iftar. I can feel my body lighter.

After iftar at Nandos in Bangsar Village, Nuar went to the toilet and while waiting for him i went into Caring Pharmacy, I wanted to buy a pregnancy test because I haven't check for quite some time. I bought 2 box of pregnancy test : 1.Clear Blue - 1 strip 2.Dip & Tell - 2 strips

2 August 2013
The night of 2nd August : I can't sleep, restless night same goes to Nuar, both of us had a hard time to sleep.

5:30am : Decided to make the test. i choose the Clear BLue strip because its more pricey and more accurate. and the result come : Positive, 2 clear blue lines popped up! At this time, my eyes popped out and feel so surprised, but i stay calm not to show my face to Nuar.

5:40am : My mouth just splurge out and told Nuar that I'm pregnant. He come and hug me and he said Alhamdulillah.

We both did Subuh Prayer and thank Allah for this gift given to us. After that we like getting ready for work.
It's kinda hard to keep something this excitement from everyone. End up telling few people. I feel bloated, slightly lightheaded and tired. But feeling above the cloud about all this. Alhamdulillah.

Recipe from MIL : Mixed Tomyam

Hye!

I want to share what my mother in law shared with me. I have done this before and I'm satisfied with its taste and how to cook it. It was my first time cooking it and I'm very happy that it turned out great. At first i was afraid that it turn out different from what my MIL thought  me. Alhamdulillah, my husband asking for me to cook it again tonight for iftar! The amazing thing about this recipe is, you are making a tomyam without using any paste, from scratch and it taste the same as your warung style tom yam!

Ingredients needed :

1.Tomato
2.Lemongrass
3.Kaffir Lime Leaves
4.Cuttlefish
5.Prawn (Medium size)
6.Cili Api
7.Garlic
8.PakChi Leaves
9.Cauliflower
10.White Onion
11.Lime
12.Salt
13.Cooking Oil

Steps :

1. Saute the sliced garlic
2. Put water to boil
3. Put the four cut sliced Tomatoes (3 tomatoes) in
4. Wait for it to boil
5. Pressed or crushed the tomatoes in the pot
6. Put the Kaffir Lime Leaves
7. Put the Pakchi Leaves
8. Put the crushed or sliced Lemongrass
9. Put in chopped or crushed Cili api
10. Stir it up
11. Put in the Cuttlefish
12. Put in the Prawn
13. Put in the Vegetables (Cauliflower,Carrots etc..)
14. Stir it Up
15. Squeeze the Lime juice
16. Put the salt to taste
17. Let it cook for a few minutes

You're Done!

If you are wondering what Pakchi Leaves is, i can't answer it yet because I too searching on what do they call it exactly. When you look at it, its similar as Sup Leaves. I even order from my mother in law from Kelantan! You can't find it here. Weird.

The spicy of the tomyam sup is depended on how much of Cili api you put in. You can put chicken and cut beef to add more variety and would definitely taste even better! I will upload some pictures of the tomyam i did.

Latest Addiction

This is my latest addiction. It started when we both went for the first time to Paradigm Mall. We went there just to spent our Labour day there. We definitely took our time. We wanted to eat Seoul Garden first and after that walk through to the whole mall after that but the restaurant open at 11:30am and we arrive at 11. So we walk through the floor and we came across Pandora. I have pass this shop many times in various places and never yet entered it. Since the shop just opened its business hours so we decided to enter it.

The attendant was very nice to us since we're the first customer. She showed us everything what Pandora offers and also current promotions. I was so delighted and excited. What attract me most is their bracelets.

Birthday Surprise for Anuar

Part One

Hello all,
On the 18th of April 2013 is my husband's birthday. I planned a few surprises for him. There's two types of surprises happened, unplanned and planned surprises.

He called and want to have a birthday lunch together. I suggested 'ikan bakar' at The Zon.While walking towards there we pass the Acme Bar & Coffee at Troika. Suddenly he said he wants to eat there. So we had our lunch there.

Later evening, I told him that I have some work to do and I'll be a little late. Actually I went to KLCC to buy him and his office mates Strawberry Tarts from Sun Moulin, Isetan. When I arrive at the his site, the surprise is not that surprise because he was standing in front of the door and his Project Manager and assistant was there too. The unplanned surprise happen when his office mate sang him the birthday song.

 I feel so relieved because everything happened on that day is not unplanned but happened. You get to see his smile.

Hello!

Today i'm going to write in the ocassion of my husband's birthday. Happy Birthday you sexay thing. I'm so happy that this day come. Finally all the surprise could be revealed. I have planned some surprises for him and i hope that it will remain hidden accordingly. Today he turned 28 :) . I feel that even though we look older than our age but our heart still young. I know that at our age many of our friends have babies and living their life. Well our fortune lies within each other. That is more then enough that i would have hoped for.

Today we spent lunch together. We went to Troika's Acme Bar & Coffee. This is my second time going there. I'm the type of person who cares happiness more then money. I don't mind spending extra money for the one I love. All I want is to see is his happiness showing on his face. I still feels the happiness where i bring him places that he never went and eat food he never tasted before. Deep inside of me feels that he is worthy for all of this. Who else should bring him right? Of course me :) .

The lunch was not part of the plan. I want to tell what my plans are but I can't, I'm afraid he's going to read this first. When I plan everything for him I feel that the love keeps growing, my heart beats harder. I know he understand why I'm doing all this. The special thing about him that he knows exactly what I'm thinking, a thing that i can't run from. He's like telepathic.

What I wish for him on his 28th Birthday today is that he gets all the happiness given through me. Let all the smiles shown and laughter to be heard on this day. I know that he would do the same for me on my day soon. I realise what i have now with the help from him making me understand our fortune, luck and blessings given from Allah is what really matters.

I want to share about my addiction to Le Peliage. If you don't know what is Le Pliage, it is a luggage line from Longchamp. I've been wanting Le Peliage ever since it set foot in Malaysia. There's imitations for this luggage line everywhere nowadays. I even bought one. At that time i don't have that much money to buy the original. Even the imitation is already pricey for me. When time past, my addiction to Le Pliage grows. Actually my handbag that i bought from a warehouse sale at Sogo last year has worn off.  It's a Giosardi.Rm50 handbag. I shouldn't expect something from a cheap handbag, like it can last a year or more. That's why i wanted to buy Le Peliage. I pay more to get that and besides the design is simple and u don't have to worry if it's wet or snagged. 

My handbag has tassels now.

 This is the latest design from Longchamp which is called Roseu Heritage. It caught my eye. Love the color but i'm sure the price is high because it is leather. I don't know when i can purchase this.

How To Make Your Cubicle More Awesome

Morning everyone,
I am in my cubicle right now and i was thinking of making it more comfortable, at ease working space. So I googled and found some amusing, funny, cool and even productive ideas for your cubicle can be.

This cubicle is just temporary because in a few months, we would be shifted to the site office which it would be less A/C and much noisier. I'm thinking putting digital photo frame. Instead of putting a lot of frames. you can have one frame but a hundreds pictures.

I realised that i don't have a box of tissue, table calender, a place for my stationery, did i mention that my office phone isn't working for the past 2 weeks?. Hye!

I'm at Kelantan right now. Actually today im going back to KL. Visiting my in-laws over the weekend. There are other reason why we came here. I got  the job at Turner International as a Document Controller. Past few days back, the company called and directly email me the Offer letter. They say that i'll be starting to work tomorrow, 4.2.13. Its a surprise but in the same time i feel something else. Nuar said to give it a try and i always come back to be a housewife again. He always know what to say. A lot to say about this but this hand is avoiding to type it.

Anyway, yesterday me and Nuar went to Besut. We were so excited because we manage to get the hotel that we want for our trip to Perhentian next week. Another big and exciting thing that we looking forward to. Its BuBu Long Beach! yes..yes..yes!

I have to share this to all of you. I believe in this product. Thanks to my friend Ayu for introducing this to me. At first i was attracted to its name which unique for me. Hada Labo. It's a Japanese product. It can be found at your local drugstore everywhere. 

When i bought it at Guardian, i was so excited to use it and guess what, it really changes my skin! I could actually feel my skin changing. my face was lifted more supple. Its what the product promised, One Drop Locks Up An Ocean. My face is so moisture like its full of water. No kidding!

I went to their Facebook page to check out more and also they have their own website (www.hadalabo.com.my). Can't wait to get the rest of the collection. For me its pricey but its worth it. What i can say, this product really suits me. I don't know that it will suit yours. Please do some research before buying any. My cousin used it and she says that it makes her skin dry. I hope it gives you as much as it did to me.

Im good! Thank you for asking.. :) ok, im going to tell you something. Right now, im place hunting for our trip to............... Perhentian Island! Yes! Me and Nuar is going to Perhentian this 8 feb to 10 feb. We're pretty much excited because this is our first trip to the island. We keep talking about this trip and how's it gonna be. Planning and disscusing what we should do.

I'm just going to tell what i know about Perhentian island. Well, i know it has two island, perhentian kecil and Perhentian besar. I did ask around and they all say that Perhentian kecil has more nightlife until 4am!. It has white sandy beach and of course the water are clear. So like now, me n Nuar are trying to find the comfortable, beautiful place for us to stay there next week.

There are few places that we found to like which are Sha Ri La Resort, Bubu Long Beach, Flora Resorts. We did a few research and the price ragne for each hotels are slightly differ. Bubu Long Beach is the most expensive hotel in Perhentian. Which its located at Long beach. It cost RM 700 per night. For Sha Ri La Resort, its located at the other side of perhentian kecil, at the coral bay. Per night for this hotel is RM 155. I've seen many celebrities prefer here rather than Bubu. For the last one, is Flora Resort. This resort is located at Perhentian besar. For this resort, i havent make a full research, i will get back on that.

The island is still on the Monsoon phase right now. Thats why we decided to go on 8 feb. The island opening. Coincidental period which falls on the Chinese New Year holiday. I know that to get around both island in Perhentian, we can use the water taxi, using boats!.
